A couple of tips to make it a lot easier to shop for women’s fashion on a budget
Believe it or not, it’s a lot easier to pick up high-end pieces of women’s fashion for a lot less than you might have been led to believe it to be – but only if you know EXACTLY what you’re getting into.
If you’re like the females in our office, you’ll no doubt be the fan of popular fashion blogs and we hear the squeals of delight, when a new post hits their email and more often than not, the oooh’s and aaaah’s follow shortly after.
One of the problems with these fashion days is budgeting. You probably don’t have an endless income source when it comes to buying clothes online and neither do our girls.
So we sat down, brainstormed some ideas and decided to write up a few budgeting tips and tricks to help you expand your wardrobe by finding some amazing fashion at discounted prices. Once you have found your favorite fashion on a budget stores, you’ll want a couple of ideas on what to buy which is why we penned this advice.
Don’t be afraid of adding more classics to your wardrobe
Even though the latest and greatest fashion and accessories available are almost always going to command top dollar, you’re going to be able to pretty much effortlessly add all kinds of classics to your collection without having to break the bank – or without having to sacrifice your style!
We’re talking about adding pieces of fashion to your wardrobe that are always stylish, pieces like:
Make sure to add pieces that aren’t ever going to look dated or out of style and you won’t have to worry about feeling funny wearing the same clothes three seasons in a row!
Pick up pieces that you’re really excited about rather than just going through shop therapy motions
Secondly, you’ll want to be careful that you don’t fall into the “shop therapy” trend when you’re looking to add new clothing and accessories to your wardrobe.
That’s the fastest way to blow a lot more money on your clothing budget and you thought you would, and it’s almost certainly going to cost you far more money than you’re probably willing to spend.
Instead, look for pieces that really excites you, the kinds of pieces that are going to separate themselves from the rest of the pack and become anchors in your wardrobe. Don’t be shy about splurging on some dresses and shorts, or the pair of jeans that fit just right – it’s much better than buying a couple of so-so items that you aren’t that crazy about.
Don’t splurge when it comes to basics
When you are adding basics to your collection, we’re talking about socks, lingerie, bras, etc., you don’t have to break the bank in 99% of situations.
Sure, you might want to add a couple of really killer pieces now and then (and there’s nothing wrong with that), but you should try and keep your spending on basics as low as possible while still getting the job done so that you can spend more money on your “showcase pieces”.
There are a lot of online sites and fashion blogs that sell amazing and high quality basics at prices that you won’t believe, cutting out the middleman entirely and giving you the kind of deals you wouldn’t have expected to find anywhere else.
Shop these sites when you need basics and you’ll be able to splurge on amazing additions all year round!
Fall in love with end of season sales
End of fashion season sales are where the biggest deals and discounts are, and you’re going to want to try and focus the majority of your women’s fashion shopping during these sales events.
It isn’t at all uncommon to get amazing pieces at discounts upwards of 75% (sometimes even more) off. These are the kinds of deals that will allow you to go crazy, filling up your shopping cart and not feeling bad about it along the way!
The clearance section of sites and shops is another place that you’ll want to focus in on, looking specifically for pieces that you can pick up at a fraction of their original retail rate.
